In Kindergarten, we continue to expand our vocabulary skills and conversational skills. We read stories from the bible in Spanish and learn how to say the Sings of the Cross and the Morning Offering prayer correctly. Some of the topics we expand upon are alphabet sounds, calendar words, weather/seasons, greeting words, colors, numbers 1-20/30, family, pets, opposites, food items, culture, and different feelings and moods.  I use technology to help the children learn the Smart Board and expose them to fun Spanish songs and videos.  The children play interactive games that I have created for them to learn through play.  I also have many props, books, songs, and games that we use to further our Spanish learning.
